My heart certainly did jump when I find out about it. It's been about 2 years now that I've been waiting to see Cor Scorpii (performing) live and SubScene'll be their second show if I'm not mistaken.

That`s right, Alastair their second show. The first one was in Sogndal at Støy Fest II In October last year. For them who not knew this I was there It `ll be a pleasure to see them again

Hmm... since Cult Of Luna is confirmed both for this junior Inferno and for the real Inferno, does this mean that we'll see Cor Scorpii on the real Inferno as well?

It would be a crime to not have such a great band playing seeing as they're already all in town. Not long until the announcement!
I'm so bloody excited haha.

I'll be going to the age-limit free concert regardless of if Cor Scorpii do get to play at the festival proper. At this point in my life I'm only in that neck of the woods once or twice a year.

My two favourite active bands playing the festival! I'd been dreaming it since Day 1 of 2007's.

Iwas under the impression that Monument was being released before the festival but the March delay could well be for a party. That'd be fun.

I can confirm that it's a free age limit show. You won't be denied access if you're 18 years and 1 hour old It's on wednesday and it's got separate tickets (which will be available in a few days time). It is mainly for those that are unable to go to the rest of the festival due to the age limit, but if you prefer this gig compared to the other clubs on wednesday feel free to go

I guess you're not gonna answer this, though, but rather tell me to wait for the full announcement on the kickoff party. So I have some other questions instead. What will the ticket price for this junior version be, and when will they be available for sale? Will the program for the real Inferno as well as this junior version be announced before the ticket sale starts?

You see, I'd love to see Cor Scorpii live, but if they're gonna play at Inferno as well, there won't be much of a point buying this ticket in addition to the one I already have. Besides, if I buy the ticket before the two concert programs have been announced, I may end up watching the Inferno festival nevertheless... if there's a better band on Inferno, that is (not likely, though). Then I'd get nothing out of buying the ticket anyway.

Furthermore I don't want to waste a fortune on a junior "festival" to see only one band.

And concerning something completely different. Rumours has it Sahg may be having a release party of their upcoming album during Inferno. Cor Scorpii's upcoming album has been postponed until March. Will we perhaps be seeing two release parties during this festival?

If i don't remember wrong the tickets are available from the 26th, which is the same day as the kick off party. I doubt they will be sold out in 1 day so it shouldn't be a problem to see the full lineup of the festival and various clubs before buying a ticket.

I can confirm that it's not an "under 18" show but a "no age limit" show.
If people UNDER 18 want to see Cor Scorpii then they should get their early.

And I'm not too sure it's gonna be a part of Inferno Festival as such! It's gonna be a small concert called SubSonic Inferno for the under 18s at SubScene, which isn't even part of the clubs listed on this site. I'm also having a wild guess that the fest pass won't be valid, for obvious fairness reasons. I mean, if there are say, 1000 1 day passes, all of which MUST be 18 years old, this gig is gonna be flooded with over 18s, destroying the whole age-free idea of the concert, thus being stupidly unfair for the under 18s who may find a packed venue. Also guess that the time the concert will go off will be earlier than the rest of the concerts, allowing it to end early too, so that the under 18s, none of who should be having a room, can take the last bus or train back home.

All this is speculation from my part judging on what I read on the Aftenposten link, so guess we'll have to wait for the official details here.

They're playing on the club day it seems, on the 19th March, and it seems like it's gonna be age free, so expect VERY limited alcohol, if any.
