well, satyricon just as a headline gig on wednesday? haha not that bad such news, then even more big bands must have been booked by the management....and roumors going around of a Satyricon/Samael Tour in the end of April, and guess what, they will play in my neighbourtown too haha

Actually John Dee is super tiny. If they play on the club day, my best bet would be Maiden, even though I've never been to Blå. Anyone know the size of that venue?

The 19th is the club day, remember. Do you really think Satyricon would play in a club rather than in a concert hall? At least I don't. I don't think those who arrange this festival would let one of the more famous/popular bands play on the club day either. That would be nothing less than stupid.

guys, no worries. Frost is gonna be Okay by the time of the festival 'cause the band has announced their participation in a festival in Poland on the 8th March, so he'll for sure play at Inferno then

He has 3-4 months roughly to recover, and I hope he does. But I also don't want to see him straining himself or causing worse injury just to play the fest. I've waited quite a while to see Frost play, and I can wait a little longer if necessary.

[i]Satyricon performance at Arnhem Metal Meeting cancelled.

It is with deep regret we have to inform you that Frost broke his leg yesterday morning. As a result of this, our headlining performance at Arnhem Metal Meeting has been cancelled. It was a freak accident where he simply slipped on ice and snow covered surface, fell to the ground with his foot in a twisted position, and broke it. This was obviously very bad news given our scheduled show at Arnhem Metal Meeting this coming Saturday. However, with Frosts history of actually playing 10 shows in a row on our European Tour in 2003 with a broken foot, we were hoping he could pull this one off as well. Doctors said last night they wanted to keep him at the hospital over night for observation and we agreed on making a desicion as to whether he could do the show, today. Unfortunately we have been informed today that his brake is so complicated that it needs surgery which will take place shortly. They intend to keep him hospitalized for at least one week. Perhaps two.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes to our fans and the festival. As Satyricon is also in the midst of rehearsing a new album, we will to have take an unwanted break from that. We will re-organzise and put our attention into other parts of the album-making process to ensure no delays. Have a great festival and join us in wishing Frost a speedy recovery.

Note : its really a bad year for drummers this year aint it ? First Hellhammer injuring his arm and having to sit out alot of dates , then the tragic death of Decapitated drummer (RIP) and now Frost's leg . The curse of drummers ? Speedy recovery to Frost !
