I would LOVE to see Negura Bunget. Well DHG are already tehre so rejoice. Solefald would be amazing too, even though I doubt it, and Borknagar already played last year.

Personally I'd be satisfied if the only extra band listed was Negura Bunget. But Solefald, Borknagar, DHG, Ved Buens End or Code would also be fantastic.

I'm disappointed that Kreator and Celtic frost are touring a week before, couldn't they have been persuaded to shift their dates around so they could play Inferno?

More? I think the 4 mainstage Death Metal acts last year were all good choices, all went down well too (well maybe not Nightrage, a tad too melodic for most). But seriously thos bands will all do full tours anyway, why bothergoing to Inferno to see bands you'd see anyway?

Necrophobic on the other hand nearly never tour... and Detrimentum could really do with a break, even if it is the John Dee...

Must I? I don`t want Inferno to turn into a complete death metal festival. That would suck, but some more death metal wouldn`t hurt anyone. Instead of recycling bands who have played there before, maybe they should try an fit new ones who haven`t played there before on the bill. Just a thought! But even so it`s hard to say what the majority will or will not like if they don`t try it. But anyways, the thread read "What bands do you want to see?", so I stick to my choice regardless of "wrong" festival or not.....

Regardless of what it claims to be (I think it's Inferno 'Metal' Festival - not Extreme) it CLEARLY gravitates towards black metal. I'm sure the majority would be unhappy if the scales were flipped and we had Cannibal Corpse headlining and...Nile and whatever other death metal bands taking up all the slots instead of Black Metal. You must agree...

And yes, Behemoth played but I wasn't referring to them, just the other bands, and Nile aren't a fun live band in my opinion. I went for the drummer and left after his sound check (wow) and first song but that blonde haired man with the old sneakers is fairly amusing.

Wrong festival? Why? Inferno proclaims to be an extreme metal festival, not just a BM festival.

Converge is a longshot, but what fun it would have been if they had played. And as far as Nile being a dull live act, I can say that I have seen much much worse. They may stand still and not make to much out of them self, but they sure *** hell look pretty funny. Dallas "disappearing hairline" Toler-Wade cracks me up!

Just saw Cryptopsy,but I wouldn`t mind if they came back to cold *** Norway.

All in all I hope they put some good death metal acts on the bill.

Thats a bit harsh after all there's always a fair few Death Metal bands at Inferno hell, Behemoth have played the fest before if memory serves.

Then again; Converge (as much as I like them, definitely the wrong fest, they're not even Metal) ???

...and then there's Nile... any 'tard can just stand on stage rehash the same stage banter they say every night just with a different city name and play their instruments, good live acts are worth going to see because they do more than that rather than just paying to listen to songs you hav on record, by this definition Nile are in no way a good live act (in fact they're one of the worst I've ever seen).

By contrast Cryptopsy are in every way a brilliant live act (and just brilliant anyway... yes I'm a fanboy) but then again they tour a lot anyway and I can''t imagine the majority of Inferno goers finding them palpable (I may be a fanboy but I can understand why people don't like them).

They don't sound anything like ND! Well each to his own... weirdo:p. Although I will agree with you to some extent, we have a good Death metal scene but our BM scene has about 10 good bands and a million "saviours of UKBM" that just plain suck.

Although one good UKBM band is Code...
