That's almost the last two years of Inferno hehe. I honestly don't know who I want to play at this next Inferno to make it worth the half-world and expensive trip. If I could choose bands that I haven't seen at Infernos already: Aborym, Ad Hominem, Anorexia Nervosa, Aryan Terrorism, Bloodline, Code, Coun Nosferatu Kommando (not going to happen haha), Diabolicum, Lifelover and Reverend Kriss Hades!!!

Submit to self-destruction.

Maybe a few of these could do the trick?

- DevilDriver
- Eluveitie (Swiss folk metallers) and/or Finland's Korpiklaani
- Finland's Turisas (to compensate them for the quarter-full John Dee that greeted them when they last played in Oslo)
- Enslaved, though by then the new album will have been out for six months...
- Anger as Art
- Nile (though they also play at Hole in the Sky this month..., bah, time enough to recuperate!)
- Atrox (to show people there are more metal acts from Trondheim than Keep of Kalessin)

Devildriver that cunt, Yank, nu-metal band? I'd be disgraced to be in attendance of the festival if the organisers felt that this band was appropriate. Although, as much as I hate them, the whole x-ray business in that video clip's pretty cool!

Scary that they got a warmer reception here in Seattle. The place was packed and the crowd had a pulse. There wasn't a still body in the entire crowd. Plenty of fans in leather, chainmail and the red/black warpaint. That was a damn good show.

Granted, that was PaganFest USA and there were other bands on the bill, but only Turisas had that sort of response. The crowd was practically dead for Ensiferum.

Well to start off i would acctually like to see some bands that hasnt been on the map as well as some "epic" bands (epic meaning bands i enjoy more than others)
My list would consist of:

Arsis
Belphegor
Brain Drill
Carpticon
Endstille
Enslaved
Kataklysm
Ljå
Massemord (the norwegian band)
Myrkgrav (if possible)
Månegarm
Satanic Warmaster
She Said Destroy
Spawn of Possession
Sargeist
Thyrfing
Trollfest (because its hillarious)
Tsjuder
Myrkskog
Blood Red Throne
The Allseeing I

And that is just some of the bands. Not listing bands iv seen which i would like to see again.

hi guys;

i found out about Inferno fest from my cousin whose currently visiting from Norway. albeit freezing, a few of us from canada will be coming this year and i thought i'd add a plug for some of our locals to your wishlist. Canada can offer some great shit:

Terratomb (www.myspace.com/terratombonline)
Hellacaust (www.myspace.com/hellacaust)
Thy Flesh Consumed (www.thyfleshconsumed.com)

I know. I heard how hard it is to get on this bill, but, no harm in introducing you guys to a few great bands. We will be coming to see the show anyway!

We got Nathrakh in '07, so I don't reckon they'll be there next year. Dethklok?! But...... they're cartoons!

Avoiding the same band twice in a row I could understand, but two years after the last time should be no problem.
And a band like that can't be booked too often, anyway.

And yes, Dethklok are cartoons, but not when they are on tour!  Brendan Small on guitars and vocals and Gene Hoglan on drums, plus two touring members.
The last tour was for students only, and they toured 12 colleges around the States. But they are planning a proper tour for international metalheads, so Inferno _should_ be an ofcourse, if you ask me.
